"SHARE has contributed significantly to my professional advancement at the University of Waterloo. My SHARE volunteer experience has helped me in countless areas, especially in developing confidence to tackle management challenges. It has strengthened my organizational, negotiating and prioritization capabilities. From a technician's perspective, these skill sets have benefited both me and the University tremendously." Martin Timmerman, Group Director, Information Systems Department, University of Waterloo (SHARE Director, Operations).

SHARE's volunteer network is its most vital resource. Many SHARE activities and planning are carried out by SHARE's 300-plus volunteer leaders. SHARE programs are substantive and our conference offerings expansive so we require a sizable resource base to deliver the value SHARE members have come to expect. Indeed, without the year-round contributions of volunteers, SHARE would be a completely different organization.
